Citation Oil and Gas Corporation owns and occupies a 60,000 square foot, two-story office building in Houston, Texas. When their only tenant's 5,000 square foot lease expired, Citation contacted Gotsdiner Architects to study alternative designs for the entire building. Three different schemes were developed which reorganized major departments within the facility. After a final design was selected, Gotsdiner Architects produced construction documents for city approval. The remodeling process was broken into four consecutive stages, so that the company could continue operations during construction. Gotsdiner Architects helped select a general contractor to perform the work and monitored the entire construction process.
