Hanson Galleries is a new 3000 square foot specialty boutique located in Houston's Uptown Park. The store displays handcrafted artwork from over 500 different artists in a unique contemporary gallery space. Customized millwork divides the store into separate departments, but provides flexibility for changing displays, including the growing jewelry collection. Gotsdiner Architects also helped select a new palette of interior finishes which gave the store a warm inviting atmosphere. High ceilings and a sophisticated lighting system enhance the feeling of space, while carefully placed curvilinear elements give the store a contemporary flair.
